APPOINTMENTS
Please call 01428 - 683175 to arrange an appointment.
We run a personal list system and encourage patients to see
their own doctor if possible. If the problem is urgent, you
may be required to see the duty doctor.
The doctors offer both morning and afternoon appointments
and Dr Willett offers appointments at Chiddingfold and Dunsfold.
Please arrive for your appointment in good time. If you are
late , the doctor reserves the right to cancel your appointment.
HOME VISITS
Please call 01428 683174/5 by 10 am to arrange a doctors
visit. Visits should only be for housebound patients or patients
who are too unwell to get to the surgery.
NEW PATIENTS
We welcome new patients to register with us. If you wish
to register, please bring your medical card, if you have one,
to the surgery where the receptionists will be happy to help
you.
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
Please allow two working days for prescription requests,
We are happy to receive faxed requests (fax 01428 685780)
or written requests with a S.A.E. We are unable to accept
telephone requests to avoid dangerous errors.
E mail repeat requests are available through this site. To
use this facility , go to the repeat prescription section.
If you wish to collect your prescription from Dunsfold Surgery,
please ensure that this is written on the request. If the
prescription request is left at Dunsfold Surgery, it is assumed
that you would like to pick it up from Dunsfold.
EMERGENCIES
Always ring 01428 683174
Out of hours: You will be given a number to ring. A trained
operator will take your details and contact the doctor on
-call. The doctors usually provide their own out of hours
cover. Occasionally , a deputising service is used and may
ask you to attend a primary care centre.
If you require general health advice you may wish to use the
NHS helpline NHS Direct ( 0845 4647) or their website
TELEPHONE ADVICE
If you wish to speak to your doctor, please telephone after
11.30 am. If the doctor is unavailable, you may be asked to
call back at a specific time.
TEST RESULTS
Please allow one week before contacting the surgery for test
results. For results ring 01428 683174 after 2pm.
PRIVATE PATIENTS
We are happy to register private patients. If you require
this service, details can be obtained from our practice manager.
