MINOR SURGERY
The Practice offers this service for appropriate patients
e.g lumps , bumps and wart removal. Please discuss any problems
that may be appropriate for minor surgery with your doctor.
TRAVEL ADVICE
If you are travelling abroad and require immunisation or
malaria advice, please make an appointment with the Practice
Nurse. We are a Department of Health registered Yellow Fever
Vaccination Centre.
ASTHMA CLINIC
The Practice Nurse holds a weekly asthma clinic to give advice
to asthmatic patients.
WELL WOMAN APPOINTMENTS
Routine smears are undertaken by our Practice Nurses. One
practice nurse is able to give advice regarding the menopause
and HRT. Each Doctor is available to see their own patients
for other advice.
FAMILY PLANNING
Our Practice Nurse is family planning trained and can give
advice about various forms of contraception. She is also trained
to initiate treatment. Coils are fitted by doctors at the
surgery.
NON NHS MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
We are able to carry out private medical examinations e.g.
taxi, HGV and life insurance. There will be a charge for this
service. Current rates are available from our practice manager.
CHILD SURVEILLANCE AND IMMUNISATIONS
Our Health Visitor holds regular clinics for routine surveillance
and immunisations. There is a drop in Health Visitor advice
clinic on Wednesday afternoons. Immunisations are by appointment.
MATERNITY CARE
We offer joint care between doctors and our midwife for antenatal
care
